“Jia Ding Waste Incinerator Equipment” Case of Financing Services Integration (Export to China)

Authorized by a clean energy company in Shanghai, ADP undertook Shanghai municipal government project of importing waste incinerator equipment. We imported 3 furnaces from Mitsubishi, Japan, which can process 1,500 tons wastes daily. Total value of the contract was CNY 38 million and the project was planned to be completed in February, 2017.Services of the project include:

Pre-project needs research, combing project’s commercial relations, trading relations between upstream and downstream, financing channels, project core needs, project major bottlenecks, and the needs of clients and all related parties.

It was initially planned that consignee shall pay 38 million RMB in one batch, then ADP offered to open one L/C with batches of payment against cargo’s batches of arrival at construction site. This payment solution effectively solved the customer's capital turnover pressure, but also met the payment requests of both shipper (collect payment when goods arrive at consignee (and consignee (pay shipper as goods are received).

By applying professional knowledge and industry experience, while safeguarding the interests of both parties, we added favorable terms for buyer into the contract, such as "equipment delivery and payment progress terms" in order to set 5 periodic payment terms, i.e. "goods onboard and B/L stage , goods on site and inspected stage, equipment installation stage, equipment operation stage, equipment maintenance and training stage " .
